Why the Name “Viridian Geeks?”
People often ask us about what the name Viridian Geeks means. The name came from our love for the environment. We’re a socially responsible company where recycling and paper reduction matter deeply to us. When searching for possible names, we came across the word “viridis”, meaning green in Latin. From this Latin word, we discovered “viridian,” which refers to a dark shade of green mixed with cyan and thought it was a distinctive name for us to use.
We added “geeks” at the end of our name because of what we’re interested in. We love technology, but also enjoy video games, board games, comic books, movies, and music. It’s not uncommon for someone to talk about Magic: The Gathering or Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator sometimes after working hard to satisfy our clients.
